Chuck & Laurie @ The Walker
I’ll be driving down to Minneapolis in a few hours to see Charles S. Anderson and Laurie DeMartino from CSA and Studio d Design, respectively, speak at The Walker in the last of four AIGA/MN Insights Lectures.
The Minnesota chapter of the AIGA is pretty active — they’ve got a constant stream of events, resources, and volunteer opportunities that end up at my doorstep in the form of some creatively-designed piece. I only wish I could make it to more of the events — the four hour drive (each way) gets prohibitive for luncheon events, or even tonight’s 7:00 p.m. lecture. [Rant] Once again, greater Minnesota misses out on a lot due to the sheer vastness of its geography.[/Rant]
