Super Size Me
Morgan Spurlock’s documentary, Super Size Me, shows how his body started to fall apart after eating McDonald’s for every meal over the course of one month. A New York Post interview with Spurlock discusses the greasy details.
His liver became toxic, his cholesterol shot up from a low 165 to 230, his libido flagged and he suffered headaches and depression.
I think this is just another example that we need diversity and moderation in our lives. You can eat at McDonald’s once in a while and be fine, but don’t make it an everyday (or every meal) occurance. Same with eating and drinking in general. While Spurlock’s experiment was only for 30 days, there are people out there eating at McDonald’s everyday.
