FM ADDYs
Came home with a Silver ADDY last night from the Fargo-Moorhead ADDYs®. I didn’t have much entered this year, but the show was pretty entertaining. The Wizard of Oz (Ads) theme was fun — it was complete with professional character costumes and themed table decorations (the unbalanced, metal tornado decoration did actual distruction, which was a nice touch). I was a little frightened by the number of people I actually knew there — and the fact that I’ve been in Fargo long enough to get to know them.
MP did the production for the event. PowerPoint only crashed once. I found it weird when they were presenting a entry for Flash animation that they used the actual Flash file instead of converting it to video (via QuickTime). To top it off, they showed it on a Mac, which must have been Dana’s PowerBook since MP doesn’t have any Macs.
